For the purpose of event registration and coordination, we may collect the following personal data:

• Name (required)
• Email address (required)
• Mobile number (optional)
• Company / University (optional)
• Job title (optional)
• Selected attendance day(s) (required)
• Additional notes (optional)

To protect the registration form against spam and automated abuse, we also use Cloudflare Turnstile. When the form is loaded or submitted, Turnstile may process technical and connection-related data such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, user-agent data, challenge response data, and other signals needed to distinguish legitimate visitors from bots.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

The collected data will be used solely for:

• Managing registration for the RIPE 92 Local Hub in Sofia
• Communicating with participants regarding the event
• Coordinating attendance and logistics
• Protecting the registration form and our website against spam, fraud, and automated abuse

Your data will not be used for marketing or any other purposes.

4. Legal Basis

Your registration data is processed based on your consent, provided when you submit your registration.

Technical data processed through Cloudflare Turnstile for security and bot prevention is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting our website, registration form, and event operations against abuse.

5. Data Storage and Access

• All data is stored within the infrastructure of BIX.BG OOD (Ltd.)
• Access to the data is restricted to limited authorised personnel within the company
• Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect the data

Registration records submitted through this website are stored by BIX.BG OOD (Ltd.). Turnstile-related technical signals are processed by Cloudflare as part of the anti-bot verification service.

Cloudflare, Inc. is a company headquartered in the United States. When Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical data, that data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where Cloudflare operates. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the use of appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. 6. Data Sharing

BIX.BG OOD (Ltd.) does not sell your personal data and does not share registration data with third parties for marketing purposes.

However, when Cloudflare Turnstile is used on the registration form, relevant technical data required for bot detection is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. and its affiliates as the provider of the Turnstile service. According to Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy documentation, Cloudflare acts as a processor for providing Turnstile to website operators and may also act as a controller for limited processing used to improve Turnstile's bot detection capabilities.

7. Data Retention

• Your data will be retained only for the duration necessary to organise and complete the event
• You may request deletion of your data at any time
• Upon request, your data will be deleted within up to 5 days

Turnstile-related technical data is processed by Cloudflare under Cloudflare's own applicable retention practices as described in its privacy documentation.

Under applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal

• Receive your personal data in a portable, machine-readable format (data portability)
• Lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) at www.cpdp.bg

9. Cookies, Tracking, and Turnstile

This site does not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies.

The registration form does use Cloudflare Turnstile as a security measure to prevent spam and automated abuse. Turnstile is not used by BIX.BG OOD (Ltd.) for advertising or marketing profiling.
